ASSEMBLY LEAGUE

The Assembly League is a series of 6 evening races taking place on Thursday evenings in South East London. It is a well established league and as you will see we are now a part of it. Our club contact for these races is Trevor Walker, please address any queries to him.

Below is a copy of the Assembly League fixtures for 2007, the 32nd season in which the League has taken place.  This year we will welcome a new club- Larkfield.

We are using our familiar race venues with two visits to the fast and completely flat course at the Dome.  Although the area adjacent to the course is likely to become busier during 2007 with the opening of an entertainment venue at the Dome/O2 centre it looks as though there will be no disruption to the existing race route (the one that we used for the second fixture there last year).

Dates and venues for the 2007 Assembly League series are as follows, we will aim to start all races at 7.15pm- with the exception of the first race which because of the light will start at 7pm.

You will note that, this year Bank Holidays etc allow us to hold all of the fixtures on the first Thursday of  each month, with the exception of the first one which is on the second Thursday as Easter is early this year.
