This was the Kent Championship race at 10M and the second grand prix race of the year. We had another good turnout for this fast flat coarse and many of our members were rewarded with PB's. Our ladies were in fine form again. Bridget entered on the day so didn't qualify for the Kent champs, but Nicola, Kim and Abi still won the team prize, so our Ladies are now Kent 10mile Champions. Fantastic! Jane Bright also took Gold in the V55, Kim, Silver in the V35 and Nicola, Bronze in the senior Ladies. But the performance of the day must go to Simon Hesketh, not only did he win Gold in the V40 but also beat Graeme Knotts club record by over 2 minutes. For the club championships, bonus points for Simon, Ashley, Steve T & Ron for the men, also Nicola, Bridget, Kim and Jane for the ladies. Runners with only one previous 10M or a calculated time restricted to 10.5 points max before bonuses. | ||
