Jane Bright and Ian Herrington travelled up to Wales to take part in the Lake Vyrnwy Marathon - warm conditions, generally flat course (2 laps around lake). Neil Williams, Bryan Boorer and Rob Bright played a supporting role.

Ian and Jane ran the first half together - Jane took off after 14 miles.

Jane's time was 3.46.09 - she was 1st woman over 50 and gets a "good for age" place in London next year.

Ian finished in 3.51.16.
