On sunday idecided to keep it local and fairly short so i took a trip up to mote park and entered the Chipulukusu Charity 5k run which was 2 laps of a course marked out and heading north up the park . Due to the absence of any runners who could get around the course quicker than me i came in 1st ( thats first ! ) in the sluggish time of 23.08 . I got a nice blue rosette emblazoned with 1st and a holiday for 2 in Zambia , providing i can work out there for a month as well ( only joking , i,m quite happy with the rosette ) . What an interesting way to spend my birthday.
