Last weekend (6th May) saw a fabulous result for Ben Ward (Larkfield AC) in the Volcano triathlon, Lanzarote. Ben achieved 17th place overall and was 7th in the men's 30-34 age group.

We look forward to hearing Ben's race report in due course. This is a big race; first overall was the elite Estonian Ain-Alar Juhanson, and first lady was Julie Dibens. Well done Ben, enjoy your stay in Lanzarote and good luck to Ben, Dave and Verity in the Ironman on the 20th.
