It is a sprint triathlon, from Bridgenorth to Much Wenlock in Shropshire. However, the bike is pretty much 15k of hills and the run is mostly off road and also hilly in places. It was good fun though as it's a fairly laid back event; T1 involves leaning your bike up against the wall outside the leisure centre, T2 did have a dismount line and a few scaffold poles but that's about it.

Anyway both Bryan and myself did well, I was 6th in my age group and Bryan 10th. The full results are below - Bryan's overall time is correct, but he thinks there should be about 4 minutes taken off his bike time and added to his swim - not sure what went wrong there. - Clare
