Not for the faint of heart! It's 27 miles over the South Downs. Pretty much up and down all the way. I think it's got about 3000ft of climb in it.

Going well under 4 hours until my running partner Phil utterly hit the wall at about 18 miles. Had to go slow after that but still finished in about 4.30. Phil's dog did the whole thing as well!

It's a really good race if you like 'em tough.

The wind on the ridges was pretty extreme, but the views were worth it. - Nick
