After a delayed start and a diminished field, the first Larkfield AC Team Time Trial got off to a good start.

It was held on the 25 mile course along the A20 at Harrietsham and saw 11 teams reduced to just 7 full teams of 3 riders.
Kent Cycles CC were out in force with 2 full teams starting and four entered. The team from GS Invicta were left short as well with only a single rider turning out to ride a solo race. Illness also forced out a rider from one Woolwich CC team so the other two riders competed as a pair. Of the teams that competed for overall honours, Kent Cycles had the only incident with Omar Rose pulling out leaving the pair of Shaun Byrne and David Edwards to finish as a pair.

The only full ladies team from San Fairy Ann CC of Sarah Sutton, Kate Alderson and Carolyn Hawkes rode the course in 1 hour 17 minutes and 11 seconds.

The other San Fairy Ann team of Ben Ward, Barry Charlton and James Parker rode the 25 miles in 58 minutes and 29 seconds to win overall with a close second place going to the Kent Cycles team of Mark Abela, Carl Bradford and David Howlett in a time of 58 minutes and 44 seconds. Third place went to Steve Quincy, Pete Andrews and Les Beautridge of VC Elan in 1 hour and 7 seconds.
