This was effectively the British championships with runners from all over the UK, Nicola was selected to run for Kent. There were 254 quality runners there.

There were 224 runners in the senior women's race alone, who were all selected to represent their county for the competition. This was over a distance of 8k, which included some very sharp inclines and slopes.
